Meet Our Staff

Mehul Vaidya

Dr. MEHUL VAIDYA, Founder, PT, DPT

Mehul graduated in 2001 from RGUHS in India with a bachelor’s in physical therapy and has been practicing physical therapy since. He also completed his doctorate in physical therapy with an executive program from Evidence in Motion. Mehul specializes in manual therapy and has earned his Maitland approach certification from Curtin University, Australia. Mehul enjoys treating back pain and neck pain patients. He has a track record of faster recovery time. Over the last 15+ years, Mehul has accumulated skills that are targeted in evaluations and treatment of orthopedic cases and post-surgical rehab. Mehul loves clinical reasoning and evaluating body mechanics and peripheral joints of the body including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot with very specific treatment plans and outcomes. Mehul lives with his wife and 2 sons. Mehul and his team are grateful and enjoy contributing to the local community and spending time with his family and friends.

Kim Coelho

Kim Coelho, PT, FAAOMPT
Director and Physical Therapist at Plymouth Location

Kim Coelho graduated in 2001 from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, India with his Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy and has been practicing as an outpatient physical therapist since then. Kim has specialized in Manual Therapy and has completed his certification and the fellowship program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute of Texas.

Having accumulated years of experience in multiple outpatient settings and after living and working in California and Michigan, he has gained insights into integrating functional outcomes into Rehabilitative and Preventative musculoskeletal health measures. The primary emphasis of his practice philosophy is to help his clients gain insight into utilizing the full regenerative and restorative effect of the body’s healing mechanism.

Manshi Shah

Dr. MANSI SHAH, DPT, CKTP

Mansi Shah graduated from RGUHS, India in 2001 with a bachelor’s in physical therapy and has been practicing as a physical therapist since then. Recently, Mansi acquired an advanced degree with Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Evidence in Motion specializing in the musculoskeletal system. Mansi also specializes in vestibular rehab and is a member of VEDA. She believes in providing quality one-on-one care, which is customized for individual patients to optimize their therapeutic outcomes. Mansi has worked in various treatment settings such as hospitals, and primarily in physical therapy outpatient. Mansi is also a Certified Kinesio-Taping practitioner, which is very helpful in improving body mechanics and accelerating the healing process in the musculoskeletal system. She lives with her husband and 2 sons and enjoys traveling.

Rupa Patel

Shraddha Kulkarni, PT, MPT

Shraddha graduated from RGUHS in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy. After practicing in India at the esteemed Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai for a year she set sail towards the US for her Masters education. She completed her Master in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences degree with a concentration in Orthopedics from University of Pittsburgh, PA in 2010.

Although she has experienced practicing in a variety of settings, her main area of focus has always been orthopedic outpatient therapy. She has a keen interest in Total Joint Replacement rehabilitation and takes pride in helping patients achieve their goals. She enjoys treating neck and lower back pain based on the McKenzie treatment principle. Shraddha has recently received a certification in TMJ and orofacial pain and she has been since enjoying providing care in this area. She has her Level 1 Dry Needling certification and will be working towards Level 2 soon.

Shraddha believes in providing one on one patient care with focus on progressing towards the patient’s goals for improving function.

Kelly Miller, PTA

Kelly Miller- Kelly graduated from Washtenaw Community College in 2017 with an Applied Science degree from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. She has been employed in an outpatient physical therapy setting since, and enjoys working closely with patients to help them achieve their physical therapy goals.

Kelly was a group fitness instructor for 10 years, where she found a passion for exercise and encouraging people to live an active lifestyle. Her hobbies include hiking, running, and reading. She currently lives in Canton with her husband and 2 son’s.

Manshi Shah

O’Neill Young, PTA

O’Neill Young- O’Neill graduated in 2022 from Washtenaw Community College with an Associates in Applied Science from the Physical Therapist Assistant program. He began working in September as a PTA for Ally Physical Therapy.

He worked as a chef for over 10 years when he discovered his passion for PT. After spending several months recovering from a hip injury in 2019 he decided to switch careers. He loves to see patients meet and exceed their goals, especially helping them to get back on their feet, walking, and enjoying life. He enjoys working with neurological cases, balance and stability training. He lives in Ypsilanti where he enjoys walking, nature, listening to music, and cooking

Marie Kadoo, PTA

Marie received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology at the University of Michigan-Flint and afterward completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Baker College. Her love of human anatomy and a passion for helping people thrive sparked her interest in the field and continues to motivate her today. Her prior experience as a caregiver further inspired her passion for making health & wellness an enjoyable & positive experience. In her free time she enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors and playing the piano & violin.

Nancy Kuzara

Since 2016, Nancy has been greeting patients with her smile at the Canton and Livonia locations. She has loved meeting new people and it makes her so happy to watch patients improve. “Graduation Day” is her favorite. While it brings her joy to see patients well enough to discharge, she misses them walking through our doors.

Nancy and her husband reside in Livonia with their two daughters, where they have lived for 30 years. When Nancy’s not working, you can find her spending time with her family. Summer is her favorite season, so you can often spot her floating in their pool or gardening. Nancy and her husband love to travel, with some of their favorite spots being Las Vegas and Arizona, where they hope to retire.

Teresa is delighted to be a part of the Ally Team. It brings her joy to welcome patients and to lift their spirits, to keep things clean for everyone’s health and to be as helpful as she can. To Teresa, it is fun to meet new people and get to know them.

For the past 27 years Teresa has lived in Livonia with her husband Rodger and daughter Amber. They love to visit her three stepsons and their families. In the summer, they travel North to the Upper Peninsula to visit her mother, it is so beautiful there. Teresa loves music, singing and gardening. She has three cats that she adores.

Joan joined the team in July 2020. She appreciates her ability to work in a place that helps heal people. Getting to know patients, then watching them improve and leave prepared to get on with their lives is a wonderful experience.

Katrina joined the Ally team in September of 2022. She has experience in customer service and enjoys watching others improve their quality of life while in physical therapy. Katrina looks forward to meeting new people along the way. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her family and playing sports. Katrina was eager to find a change and so glad to be a part of such a great team.

Laura was thrilled to join the Ally team in the fall of 2023. After spending 30 years teaching elementary school, it was important to her that her post-retirement career, like teaching, create a welcoming and positive environment. She enjoys greeting and getting to know patients, and strives to be helpful in all aspects of the clinic, including keeping everything clean, organized, and running smoothly. When Laura is not at Ally, you might see her at the gym or jogging around Novi. Health and fitness are her passions, so working in a physical therapy office was a natural fit. When a patient has made significant progress and is ready to be discharged, Laura loves celebrating with them!
